Attainment and progress are outstanding across the FS. Attainment and progress are acceptable across Islamic education and Arabic. In the primary and secondary phases, attainment and progress is very good in English, mathematics and science with attainment being outstanding in science in the primary phase. Learning skills are outstanding in FS and the primary phase. Collaboration and communication skills are strong.

Students demonstrate exceptional behaviour and attitudes. They are kind and respectful. Students have a secure appreciation of Islamic values and Emirati culture as well as a good knowledge of their own and other cultures. Students are responsible members of the school. They have very high levels of understanding of sustainability. Opportunities to take on leadership roles are limited for younger primary school students.

Teachers possess strong subject knowledge but exhibit a lesser understanding of student learning processes. Their lesson planning is purposeful, engaging, and effectively utilises time and resources, fostering strong relationships with students. However, the use of questioning and providing challenges in lessons varies. Established assessment processes offer a comprehensive view of student achievement, though the extensive use of digital platforms lacks consistency.

Leaders are committed to the well-being of all in the community and implement a curriculum that prioritises its importance. The school ensures that students always have someone to speak to whenever they have a concern. Highly qualified staff provide counselling for students who may need extra support. Students do not have sufficient opportunities to develop their own well-being initiatives or projects.

The school has effective systems in place to identify and support students’ needs. Leaders provide swift and accurate support when needed. Staff carefully adapt the curriculum to meet students’ needs. The school communicates effectively with parents. Students of determination follow a broad and balanced curriculum developing skills, knowledge and understanding across a range of subjects. Students make strong progress towards their targets but in class support is sometimes variable.

Senior leaders are committed, determined and dedicated. Morale across the school is high and staff feel valued. Selfevaluation procedures are fully embedded, but the quality and validity of resulting documentation is variable. Parents are highly supportive of the school and leaders. The governing board has ensured that sufficient teachers are employed to support the curriculum. Staff are deployed effectively. Resources are of a high quality.
