Students’ achievement
The students achieve well in all subjects and phases, with both attainment and progress being good or better. Improvements this year were predominantly in Kindergarten and Primary, especially in Arabic, mathematics, and science. Students learning skills are consistently very good. In Kindergarten, the children's curiosity to find out new things and know more is supported by their outstanding learning skills.
Personal and social development
Across the school, almost all aspects of the students' personal and social development, and their contributions to sustainability and social awareness have improved and are now outstanding. Secondary students need further support to maximise their potential in these areas. Students in all phases have a very good understanding of Islamic values and Emirati culture.
Teaching, curriculum and care
Teaching for effective learning across all phases is now very good, positively influencing student outcomes. Teachers demonstrate a deep understanding of students' diverse needs, which is evident in their lesson planning. The school has developed increasingly effective and dependable systems for assessing student attainment and tracking progress.
Wellbeing
The school's leadership effectively promotes well-being, with clear policies. However, a shared vision for community well-being is under-developed. Well-being teams offer diverse support, but opportunities are inconsistently promoted across school phases. Kindergarten children receive exceptional support, fostering confidence and achievement through play. Students throughout the school excel academically and emotionally, actively engaging in supporting others and contributing to school life. Parental involvement is recognised as crucial for holistic well-being initiatives
Inclusion
The school is strongly committed to promoting inclusive education, with effective leadership of the inclusion teams leading to improved provision and positive student outcomes. Teachers receive focused training to better meet students' needs, and accurate identification supports tailored action plans. Increased communication with parents is effective. Teaching effectively engages students, supported by well-judged assistance, resulting in better-than-expected progress and meeting personal development targets for the majority of students of determination.
Leadership and management
The school's senior leadership team, led by the principal, is effective in supporting change and delivering improved student outcomes. Key priorities are identified, and the school's improvement plans are designed to meet these priorities. Relationships with parents are respectful, supported by open channels of communication. The school's Advisory Board acts professionally in supporting the development of the school. The school's facilities and resources provide a conducive learning environment.
