Students’ achievement
Attainment and progress are strong across the Foundation Stage (FS) as well as English, mathematics and science.
Personal and social development
All students value their roles and responsibilities in school and beyond. Behaviour is excellent and relationships are respectful and considerate. Students have a strong appreciation of Islamic values. They are knowledgeable of the heritage and culture of the UAE. They demonstrate high levels of commitment to conservation and environmental issues. Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship are strong.
Teaching, curriculum and care
Teaching is highly effective in FS where teachers know how young children learn and encourage their independence. Across the school, lesson planning is effective, questioning is purposeful, and teachers have high expectations. Teaching is occasionally inconsistent in the primary phase. Internal assessments are coherent, Assessment data is analysed in depth, but teachers’ use of data remains inconsistent. Marking and feedback is developmental.
Wellbeing
Leaders demonstrate a strong commitment to student well-being through comprehensive policies and initiatives. There is an emphasis on the importance of well-being alongside academic achievement. Student well- being is closely monitored and actively supported through the curriculum. Well-being ambassadors, prefects and committees provide leadership opportunities and community engagement. Extra-curricular activities enrich student experiences.
Inclusion
The inclusion department employs strong assessment methods to tailor strategies for each student, using KHDA categories. Specialist staff collaborate to prepare effective support interventions. Parents appreciate the accessibility and support of the inclusion team. Teachers’ delivery of differentiated lessons is improving but consistency is a challenge. Students of determination achieve well and make better-than-expected progress with many securing university places.
Leadership and management
Leaders at all levels are determined and dedicated. They have worked with diligence to improve middle leadership and raise the quality of teaching and learning. Leaders know the school’s strengths and weaknesses. Staff morale is very high. Parents are engaged and the governing body are effective. The school fosters strong community ties which greatly enhance students' educational experiences. Buildings, facilities and resources are exceptional.

A. Registration Requirements Met Fully
- Students’ outcomes for the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) in 2021 exceeded the target set by 17 points and was at the high international benchmark.
- On average, students sustained very good judgements in attainment in the National Agenda Parameter assessments in science.
- They improved in English and mathematics to very good over a two-year period.

- British: five IGCSE or GCSE passes (grade E or 3) and one A level or two AS levels (grade E).
- Vocational only. A BTEC Level 3 Diploma counts as a technical certificate, not the general secondary certificate.
- IB: the IB Diploma, or six IB subject certificates at grade 3 or above with 21 points, including English, maths and a science.
- Vocational only. The IB Career-related Programme counts as a technical certificate, not the general secondary certificate.
Arab students also need Arabic, and Muslim students Islamic Studies, in each of the last three years.
