Choosing a school in Dubai Investment Park and Jebel Ali
This site lists six schools in Dubai Investment Park and three in Jebel Ali; Al Furjan, between them, adds two.
Counts, ratings and 2026–27 tuition from KHDA's Education Directory, inspection reports and Fees Fact Sheets, checked 24 September 2026; calendar and bus-page dates are under Sources.

Al Furjan is 4.4 km from Dubai Investment Park and 2.8 km from Jebel Ali; the two larger areas are 6.9 km apart. All three are straight lines between the areas' school centres, not routes. The fee pages give every school's tuition for any year group, after the discount the school lists on its KHDA Fees Fact Sheet.
Two areas, with Al Furjan between
Families moving for a job in Jebel Ali Free Zone, at Expo City or at Al Maktoum Airport are usually pointed to Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Jebel Ali or Al Furjan. For schools the three work as one place to look, and this site shows them on three pages.
KHDA, the school regulator, files the DIP schools under Dubai Investment Park First and the Jebel Ali schools under Jabal Ali First; Al Furjan carries its own name.
Dubai Investment Park has six schools, and bus pages split it into DIP 1, DIP 2 and Green Community, a residential part inside it. Jebel Ali, 6.9 km away, has three, and Al Furjan, 4.4 km from DIP and 2.8 km from Jebel Ali, has two. Together the three pages hold 11 schools, six of them British.
Arabic names on the two pages: مدارس مجمع دبي للاستثمار · مدارس مجمع دبي للاستثمار الخاصة · مدارس جبل علي · مدارس جبل علي الخاصة
Of the 11, two carry an area in their name: The International School of Choueifat – Dubai Investments Park and The Winchester School – Jebel Ali. The Dubai Investment Park school writes «Dubai Investments Park», with an «s»; KHDA's name is Dubai Investment Park First.
Which «Jebel Ali» school is where
This site places each school where its building is and shows KHDA's area name beside it when the two differ. What to check here is the place in a school's own name, or in the name families use for it. KHDA's Jabal Ali First holds five schools; three of them stand in Jebel Ali and are on this site's Jebel Ali page.
- Arcadia British School stands in Jumeirah Village Triangle, 6.2 km from the centre of Dubai Investment Park's schools, and KHDA files it under Jabal Ali First; KHDA rating Very good (2023–24).
- Jebel Ali School stands in Damac Hills, 8.9 km from the centre of Dubai Investment Park's schools, and KHDA files it under Jabal Ali First; KHDA rating Very good (2023–24).
- Al Ghaf Private School stands in Jebel Ali; it is in the table below.
- Delhi Private School, which families often write as «DPS Jebel Ali», stands in Jebel Ali; it is in the table below.
- The Winchester School – Jebel Ali stands in Jebel Ali; it is in the table below.
Neither placement is a mistake: KHDA registers the official community name, this site the place families use, and the two overlap only partly. No JSS school is in Jebel Ali: JSS Private School stands in Al Wasl and JSS International School in Jumeirah Village Circle.
All 11 schools: curriculum, KHDA rating and 2026–27 fee
Dubai Investment Park, which KHDA files as Dubai Investment Park First, has six private schools; Jebel Ali, 6.9 km away, has three, and Al Furjan between them has two: 11 schools in all, six of them British. Tuition for the first year of primary in 2026–27 runs from AED 11,139 to AED 63,300 a year. KHDA has rated all 11, and 8 hold Good or better.
The table lists every school on the three pages with its curriculum, its latest KHDA rating and the year of that inspection, and its 2026–27 tuition for one stage: Year 1 at British schools, KG2 at American, IB, SABIS and Indian CBSE schools. That is the first year of primary in each system, so the column compares like with like. All 11 take children at that stage.

Tuition is the school's 2026–27 figure for that year group as listed on its KHDA Fees Fact Sheet, after the discount the sheet lists; where the sheet lists a discount, the approved figure is shown beside it.
Uniforms, books, transport and exam fees are extra. The rating is the overall judgement of the school's latest KHDA inspection, with its school year.
For an older child: Fees for Year 5 · Fees for Year 7 · Fees by year group. Each school's page has its full fee schedule, its inspection reports and its calendar.
What the table shows
- Fees for this stage range from AED 12,875 to AED 54,238 at the six Dubai Investment Park schools, from AED 11,139 to AED 43,500 in Jebel Ali and from AED 45,000 to AED 63,300 in Al Furjan.
- Of the 11, three list this fee under AED 20,000, six between AED 20,000 and AED 50,000 and two above AED 50,000. The three under AED 20,000 are Bright Riders School, Delhi Private School and The Winchester School – Jebel Ali.
- Ratings: three schools are Very good, five Good and three Acceptable. No school here is rated Outstanding, Weak or Very weak, and none is without a rating. Nine ratings date from 2023–24, Durham School's from 2024–25 and Arcadia Global School's from 2025–26; each rating's year is in the table.
- Four schools list a 2026–27 fee for this stage below the figure KHDA approved; the table shows both.
Two medians, and which schools they count
This site's Areas statistics give a median for two of the three areas, from the schools' KHDA Fees Fact Sheets. For Year 5 (Grade 4) in 2024–25 the median fee was AED 41,208 in Dubai Investment Park First and AED 48,496 in Jabal Ali First.
The Jabal Ali First median counts five schools, two of which stand in Jumeirah Village Triangle and Damac Hills; Al Furjan has fewer than three schools, so the page prints no median for it.
British, Indian CBSE, American, IB and SABIS here
The 11 schools break down as six British, two Indian CBSE, one American, one IB and one SABIS. Dubai Investment Park alone has five different systems; Jebel Ali has British and Indian CBSE; Al Furjan's two schools are both British. No area here has three schools of one curriculum, so this site has no «British schools in Jebel Ali» page, and the city-wide curriculum pages are the next step.
British
Six schools follow the British curriculum: Dove Green Private School (Dubai Investment Park), Durham School (Dubai Investment Park), Al Ghaf Private School (Jebel Ali), The Winchester School – Jebel Ali (Jebel Ali), Arcadia Global School (Al Furjan) and The Arbor School (Al Furjan).
Four of the six stop before Year 13: Dove Green Private School and Durham School at Year 11, Al Ghaf Private School at Year 8 and Arcadia Global School at Year 9. Every British school in Dubai is at British curriculum schools in Dubai; the fee table is British school fees in Dubai 2026–27.
Indian CBSE
Two schools are Indian CBSE: Bright Riders School and Delhi Private School. Both are on the CBSE board's SARAS register and both run the April-to-March school year; see «Dates and applying» below. Every CBSE school in Dubai is at Indian CBSE schools in Dubai; the fee table is CBSE school fees in Dubai 2026–27.
American, IB and SABIS
Al Nibras International Private School follows the American curriculum (American curriculum schools in Dubai; fee table American school fees in Dubai 2026–27). Greenfield International School offers the IB from Pre-KG to Grade 12 (IB schools in Dubai; IB school fees in Dubai 2026–27).
The International School of Choueifat – Dubai Investments Park follows the SABIS programme, which KHDA lists under «Other». It has no curriculum page of its own on this site; all curricula are counted at Curricula.

Bus zones from DIP 1 to Dubai South: what schools print
Routes are set by each school and its operator, so this page repeats only what each school's own website says. Of the 11 schools, six have a transport page, and three publish the areas they serve (two of them with a fee). Of the other three, one names its operator, one gives only a notice and one says only that its buses run across Dubai.
Pages were read on 11 October 2026; routes and prices change yearly, so confirm with the school before you sign a tenancy.
The websites of the other five did not describe their buses when we read them on 11 October 2026. They may still run buses, so ask the school's admissions team.
Discovery Gardens, The Gardens, Jebel Ali Village and Green Community are residential names the bus lists use; KHDA files no private school under them. The schools whose buses go there are below.

What this tells a family choosing where to live
Every school here that publishes a zone list names Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens and Dubai South; two of the three name Green Community. Another thirteen schools elsewhere in Dubai name DIP, Jebel Ali, Al Furjan or Discovery Gardens on their published routes. Several schools say plainly that a seat depends on availability, so ask for written confirmation before you rely on it.
Transport prices across Dubai, from the Fees Fact Sheets: Other costs; for 2026–27 the typical range is AED 5,500 to AED 9,225 a year across 200 schools. What else comes with tuition: School costs beyond tuition in Dubai 2026–27.

For a family working at Expo City or Al Maktoum Airport, Dubai Investment Park is the nearest area with several schools.
Dubai South is not Al Barsha South, which lies north of Dubai Hills (Schools near Dubai Hills, Al Barsha South and Al Quoz).
Jumeirah Village Triangle, 6.2 km from DIP, is where Arcadia British School stands, and Damac Hills, 8.9 km, is where Jebel Ali School stands; both are KHDA's Jabal Ali First, as the names section explains.
Living in Dubai Marina, JBR or JLT? Schools near Dubai Marina lists the nearest by distance. For an address you already have in mind, Schools near where you will live shows the nearest schools from an area or a landmark; Dubai Investment Park, Jebel Ali, Al Furjan and Dubai South are all in its list.
Term dates and applying
Two school years run side by side here. Nine of the 11 schools follow KHDA's August calendar for 2026–27: 31 August 2026 to 2 July 2027, 185 school days. The two Indian CBSE schools, Bright Riders School and Delhi Private School, follow the April year: 6 April 2026 to 19 March 2027, 182 days.
A family arriving in summer therefore joins a CBSE school part-way through its year, and a child moving between an April-start and an August-start school can land in a different year group: check Which year group is my child in? with both dates.
The first break on the schools' KHDA calendars: all nine August-start schools pause from 12 to 16 October 2026. The April-start schools show no October break. Each school's own calendar is on its page; every school's dates are in Dubai school calendar 2026–27, and the city-wide picture is at Calendar.
Each school places a child by age and, from Grade 1 / Year 2, by the transfer certificate from the last school. Most schools then run their own assessment and keep a waiting list; the steps are in Applying to a Dubai school. Each school's page here gives its fee schedule and inspection reports.
Questions families ask
Is Jebel Ali School in Jebel Ali?
Not by its building: Jebel Ali School stands in Damac Hills, and KHDA files it under Jabal Ali First; its page on this site is Jebel Ali School, with its 2026–27 fees and its KHDA rating, Very good (2023–24). The three schools that stand in Jebel Ali are Al Ghaf Private School, Delhi Private School and The Winchester School – Jebel Ali.
Which schools are in DIP 1 and DIP 2?
This site's Dubai Investment Park page lists 6 schools: Al Nibras International Private School, Bright Riders School, Dove Green Private School, Durham School, Greenfield International School and The International School of Choueifat – Dubai Investments Park. «DIP 1», «DIP 2» and «Green Community» are the names bus pages use for parts of the same area; KHDA files all six under Dubai Investment Park First.
What is near Dubai South?
Dubai South has one school on KHDA's register, GEMS Founders School – Dubai South, which KHDA has not yet inspected. The nearest area with several schools is Dubai Investment Park, six schools, 6.7 km away by straight line. Dubai South is a different place from Al Barsha South.
Are there schools in Al Furjan?
Two: Arcadia Global School (British, FS1 to Year 9, Good, 2025–26) and The Arbor School (British, FS1 to Year 13, Good, 2023–24), both in the table above and on the Al Furjan page. Jebel Ali's three schools are 2.8 km away, and Dubai Investment Park's six are 4.4 km away.

For the first year of primary in 2026–27, between AED 11,139 and AED 63,300 a year across the 11 schools, as listed on the schools' KHDA Fees Fact Sheets after any discount the sheet lists; three of the 11 list this fee under AED 20,000. The table gives each school; other year groups are at Fees by year group.
Which schools run buses to Discovery Gardens, The Gardens or Green Community?
On their own websites, Bright Riders School, Durham School and The Winchester School – Jebel Ali name Discovery Gardens or Green Community among their areas; 13 schools elsewhere in Dubai name Discovery Gardens, The Gardens, DIP, Jebel Ali or Al Furjan too. The Buses section gives each school's words; the five schools whose websites did not describe their buses may still run them, so ask admissions.
Is Dubai Investment Park the same as Dubai Investments Park?
Yes, one area. KHDA's name is Dubai Investment Park First, this site's page is Dubai Investment Park, and The International School of Choueifat – Dubai Investments Park spells it with an «s» in its own name.
